The First National Bank of Arenzville, Jacksonville, and South Jacksonville is pleased to announce that Ryne Turke is the recipient of the 2025 Blue Diamond Community Service Award. Ryne is active in our community, utilizing his interest in fitness and service to help make our community stronger.

Ryne is currently employed at Fitness World in Jacksonville. He has created programs and opportunities, including camps and leagues for kids, initiated toddler and homeschool groups, and with the help of fellow instructors, has taken the Silver Sneakers Senior Fitness Program to new heights.

Connected to his love of fitness, Ryne has developed the Adults with Disabilities Fitness program, a free initiative he started that provides activities for individuals at Pathway, Elm City Center, and others. Also, through his sports broadcasting and social media presence, Ryne promotes young athletes and local teams.

Outside of fitness, Ryne serves our community. Since 2019, Ryne initiated and has run the Hot Wings Charity Challenge, which has raised around $50,000 for local organizations. He is also the founder of the Downtown Trivia League, now in its third year. In 2025, over 22 teams and 100 participants joined each week, supporting those downtown businesses and raising over $1,000 for Early Years’ diaper drive.

Ryne has volunteered with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for several years, assisting with events, fundraising, and serving as a speaker at area-wide functions.

Currently, Ryne is serving as Co-Chair of the Prairieland United Way campaign, alongside Daniel Hackett. Their energy, social media efforts, and community outreach are hoping to exceed this year’s $475,000 fundraising goal.

First National Bank is proud to award Ryne Turke with the 2025 Blue Diamond Community Service Award. The bank is honored to acknowledge community servants in our area, and Ryne exemplifies those traits: putting others before ourselves.

Congratulations Ryne!
